Champagne Jello Shots

The New Year is approaching and there is no better way to celebrate and ring in the new year with some Champagne Jello Shots!

These are so easy to make and they are super fun!

What you need:

1 bottle of champagne
boiling water
4 packets of unflavored gelatin

 optional: Cream soda, sparkling grape juice or sparkling cider.
sprinkles, food coloring and cookie cutters (hearts, stars, numbers) edible glitter would be fun,                          24kt gold flakes or pop rocks

Directions:
Boil water and pour 1/2 cup into a bowl. Sprinkle four envelopes of unflavored gelatin over the water. Make sure gelatin has dissolved completely

Once mixture has cooled a little by a little 1 bottle of cold champagne and 1 bottle of cream soda or sparkling juice of your choice over gelatin mixture.

If you want to add color add a few drops of food color and mix

pour into a small container or single serving containers such as cups or a silicone ice tray

Put the jello in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours for them to form.

Cut jello into squares  or use your cookie cutters and carefully remove it from the container. Dip the top in sanding sugar, sprinkles, pop rocks or edible glitter.

Keep shots refrigerated until ready to eat.
