Olaplex Hair Perfector No.3 is often refered to as the Holy Grail of hair products for colored hair. If your hair is overprocessed and damaged from bleach or coloring this is the product that will restore it to its natural soft state. It will repairs even very brittle hair. No.3 is the at home treatment, No. 1 & 2 are done by professionals only. I haven’t tried No.1 & 2 but I’m dying to. Olaplex works on all hair types, dry, curly, thick, and fine. Olaplex repairs disulfide bonds within the hair structure, which can be broken down by styling tools, coloring or other chemical treatments (relaxing, keratin, straightening). It will also help reduce frizz, dullness bringing back shine and bounce to your hair.
I washed my hair and left it on overnight. The bottle says 10 minutes or more. Kim Kardashian uses it and says overnight, she has beautiful shiny hair so I tried leaving it overnight. When I woke up, I rinsed Olaplex first, then shampooed, and conditioned. I immediately noticed the difference in my hair in the shower. My hair felt softer and more manageable. I towel dried it, then blowed it out. My hair looked and felt soft. It was shiny and healthy looking. My main issue with my hair besides it being dry is frizziness. Even if I blow it out at home I can never get that salon look, I’m always having to put oils in my hair to calm it down and still that doesn’t help. Just after using it one time I got that salon look at home. The difference between Olaplex and a deep conditioner is Olaplex rebuilds your hair shaft in so that your hair gets stronger where a conditioner is just temporarily fixing the problem. The longer you use Olaplex the better your hair will look. This is just a once a week treatment.
You can find a salon that carries Olaplex here, Olaplex.
