Opening on June 25, 2016, OUE Skyspace Los Angeles will be California’s tallest open-air observation deck and a must-see destination for panoramic, 360-degree views of Los Angeles. The views are amazing, you can see the entire LA basin. You can spot landmarks like the Hollywood sign, the ocean, mountains, and everything in between. OUE Skyspace LA is located on floors 2, 54, 69 and 70 of the iconic U.S. Bank Tower. My favorite part aside from the views is the glass slide, Skyslide which is nearly 1,000 feet above downtown LA.
The Skyslide is a 45-foot, fully enclosed, all-glass slide landing on the exterior of the iconic US Bank Tower. The slide is made of 1.25-inch glass. Visitors will glide from the 70th to the 69th floor. It was so fun I went twice, I would’ve gone a few more times but I wanted to let other people have a chance to ride it too. The ride is short about five seconds long but it’s so worth it. The views are gorgeous, it’s exciting and fun. The observation decks are so relaxing and peaceful. It’s a nice place to just enjoy the city and relax. When you can see the views and how beautiful LA is, it makes you love the city all over again.
Skyspace LA is a two-level indoor area, Skyspace features two outdoor observation decks that sit nearly 1,000 feet above the Downtown streets. It also has private event space, that can be used for corporate events, weddings, etc. One floor higher, you’ll find the fine dining restaurant 71Above.
