Whether you are headed to St. Mortiz or Courchevel this winter, packing winter clothes is tough. Here are some cute ideas for you to pack and some winter beauty essentials you will need.
Overpacking can be easily done and winter clothes are so thick and bulky that when you pack for your next winter get away think of packing things that are in neutral color groups. I like to pack some staples and also have some fun pieces so it’s easy to mix and match. Here are some great pieces to pack. Starting with this Maison Michel Charles zip-detailed hat, it is a hat that you can wear with many outfits and it has a zipper detail that you can unzip and have a different style hat as well. Moncler’s Aglaia’s down coat, is stylish and will keep you warm. The Row’s Angel oversized ribbed cashmere sweater will keep you cozy during the snowy nights. This Markus Lupfer sweater, is so fun, it has a sequin-embellished lip and you can pair this with jeans, leather leggings or a skirt. Leather leggings are a must for winter, they give you the edge you need, these Joseph leather leggings have stretch to them and can be paired with sneakers, heels, boots and an oversized sweater. This Babjades leather trimmed cashmere poncho is an essential for winter, pair this with skinny jeans and boots. This Saint Laurent bandana scarf is great with any outfit, it’s cashmere and silk. These Chloe velvet ankle boots are perfect for winter, they also come in navy if you don’t like burgundy. They are easy to wear because they have a block heel. Don’t forget your sunglasses, these Gucci crystal embellished sunglasses are perfect. I’m obsessed with these EF Collection chokers the diamond X can also be worn as a bracelet. Add it with the EF Collection diamond choker looks amazing paired with the diamond x choker or worn alone. Fendi’s monster gloves are great because you can wear them on and off the slopes.
Don’t forget your winter beauty essentials. What you’ll need is a thick cream that will keep your skin hydrated like La Mer’s, Creme De La Mer. Bring a good exfoliator to remove dry skin and reveal glowing skin, try DDF’s Micro-Derma Crystals Polishing Gel, it is gentle and effective. In the winter your skin can tend to get red in the cold, Algenist has helped you remove redness from your skin with their Reveal concentrated color correcting drops, the microalgae and pigments help correct the redness in your skin. Don’t forget your hands, keep this in your bag at all times, Lauren B.’s nourishing hand cream, it will help keep your hands soft for the slopes, on the plane and all day long. In the winter your hair can tend to get dry, you want soft bouncy hair, you can achieve that all the time with Philip B.’s Katira Hair Masque. It will get rid of frizz, it’s oil free and is great for all hair types. Red is so pretty for the slopes, Lipstick Queen has Scarlet Red which is a full coverage matte red that still looks soft. One of my all time favorite foundations is Smashbox’s Studio Skin 15 hour wear hydrating foundation. It’s amazing, it has great coverage without making you look like you are wearing a lot of makeup. Giorgio Armani’s Eyes to Kill Excess Mascara will leave your lashes looking longer, fuller and is ultra black. It also comes in waterproof. A bronzer is great to have to give yourself some color on the slopes, I love Dolce & Gabbana’s Glow Bronzing Powder, it comes in several shades and gives you a warm glow. Don’t forget to keep your lips hydrated, I love ByTerry’s Baume de Rose, it will help keep your lips nourished and protected from harsh winter weather.
Go and enjoy the slopes!
