You probably know Karina Smirnoff from Dancing With The Stars, she is a professional ballroom dancer and has been dancing from the age of 9. Karina is originally from the Ukraine and moved to the US at the age of 12. She studied at Fordham University where she got a double degree in Economics and Information Systems Programming, after university she went to pursue her career in dancing and that lead her to win many titles and championships. Karina is a five time US National Champion, World Trophy Champion and Asian Open Champion. She also won the title at the UK Open, five time champion for the Dutch Open, three-time champion at the US Open and so many more. She is also the first woman to ever make the final for the British Professional with three different partners. She has also been ranked #2 in the world for Latin Dance. While on Dancing With The Stars, Karina designed all her own costumes and choreographed all her partnered routines. Karina also starred in two Broadway shows, Burn the Floor and Forever Tango. She also won the 13th season of Dancing With The Stars.
