I love a good staycation! I recently spent three days in Conejo Valley. If you aren’t familiar with the Conejo Valley it’s Malibu, Thousand Oaks, Agoura Hills and Newbury Park. It’s a short drive from LA and Orange County and if you love hiking and exploring new areas it’s a must visit. You can escape to a really pretty area without having to go to far. I do love lounging around when I go on vacation but I really love exploring cities and seeing what they have to offer. We stayed at the Sheraton in Aguora Hills and the bed was so comfy that I probably could’ve slept the entire day. The location of the hotel is really convienant to everything and makes it the perfect place to stay. Growing up in the art world I have always loved visiting museums. Whenever I visit a new city I always go and visit several museums. Even though I have been to San Diego countless times and I had never visited any museums until recently. I didn’t even know there were over 40+ museums in San Diego. I am happy that I finally explored several while I was there recently. Such as the Natural History Museum, San Diego Museum of Art, the Japanese Friendship Garden, USS Midway, the haunted Whaley House and I also took a Trolley ride. If you need a little escape from LA or Orange County you should head down to San Diego. Hilton Hotels has partnered up with the San Diego Museum Council to give you a free pass to 40+ museums for the month until the end of February. It’s such a great deal and a…
