You have found your new summer cocktail. It’s so easy to make and low in calories that you will want to drink this all year long.  Even in the coldest of winters it will bring summer into your home.  I tried the Original flavor from Coco 21 a coconut water vodka.  I mixed it with Core’s water in Coconut Colada.  It may seem like coconut overkill but it wasn’t.  I do wish Core had a pineapple flavor and that would have been amazing with Coco 21.   The month of May just got better, the LA Times is hosting a month-long food festival called the LA Food Bowl.  It’s called the LA Food Bowl because everything is served in a bowl.  There are events all around the city showcasing some of our best restaurants, most talented chefs and fun dining experiences.  They will also be holding different discussions about food, sustainability and hunger. This event will bring out big names like Mario Batali (Eatly, Babbo), Thomas Keller (Bouchon, French Laundry), Wolfgang Puck (Spago), Nancy Silverton (Mozza),  Ludo Lefebvre (Trois Mec), Michael Cirmarusti (Providence), Massimo Bottura (Osteria Francescana), Jessica Koslow (Sqirl), Niki Nakayam (n/naka), Alvin Cailan (Eggslut) and many more. I’ll start off by saying I am not a huge dessert fan.  I do love chocolate and cute packaging so that’s what drew me to Petit Pot. Their packaging is so adorable that I had to try it and I am glad that I did! Petit Pot is a line of French desserts that taste like they belong in a fine dining restaurant but you can find them at your local grocery store.  The line of desserts consists of a variety of Pot De Crème, Riz Au Lait and Cookies.  I will tell you these are my new favorite desserts and remind me of being in Paris.  Petit Pot has turned me into a dessert lover, I was sad when I finished all of the flavors.
