Living LA it’s so easy to get caught up with the day to day of very busy lifestyle.  There is always something happening in the city to do.  It’s so rare that I get to escape and take an entire day for myself and just relax.  I went with a friend to Glen Ivy Hot Springs which is located in Corona.  It is about an hour and half away from LA. It’s a day spa that has sulfur springs, red clay treatments, classes and you can get so many spa services such as massages, facials, pedicures and more. It’s a really great way to spend a day and really relax. If you don’t believe in magic you will when you attend the RiSE Festival.  This year RiSE Lantern Festival celebrated their fourth year in the Mojave Desert.  This year the event was particularly special because it was honoring those who were affected by the tragedy in Las Vegas.  RiSE brings together participants who want to share their hopes, dreams and wishes with loved ones and strangers.  Attendees come together and release lanterns, you can choose to write a message, a wish or dreams on it.  I saw people draw on them, write wishes, write messages to loved ones who have passes away, and some left the lanterns as is.  I met a girl who came because she recently lost her father and boyfriend in the last couple of months and she wanted to celebrate them there. Blind Dragon in West Hollywood has re-opened for a more intimate full dining experience.  The h.wood Group has revealed a new look for the West Hollywood flagship supper and karaoke club and has been refurbished and designed by John Sofio, of Built, Inc. with a sexy new look.  The menu has been revamped with an Asian inspired menu such as Short Rib Bao’s, Coconut Shrimp, and Truffle Kale Chips.  Behind the leopard curtain reveals an Asian Tiki themed restaurant, piano bar, and they also have four uniquely themed private karaoke rooms. I was impressed by their food, the menu is Asian Tapas style. The newly curated menu was designed by Adam Koral (The NICE GUY, Delilah) together with ROKU’s Creative Head Chef, Roger Lee.  The drink menu was created by Blind Dragon’s Head Bartender, Daniel Torres.
