I discovered Wei Beauty recently and have completely fallen in love with the brand. Every detail is thoughtful and meaningful from the packaging to the application process. What I love is that these products are so affordable but have the same quality as any luxury skincare. Wei surpasses some of the more expensive brands that I use the quality of each product is amazing.
Being a Chinese American, I can appreciate the details that Wei Beauty incorporates into their brand. I love that there is meaning in everything that they do. Wei is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine that was discovered in the Ming Dynasty. Which dates back over 2,500 years ago. All the herbs that are used in Wei products are sourced through “fair trade” practice in China. They work with local farmers and buy directly from them, ensuring authenticity, purity and helping those communities that they are sourced from.
Each of their products is hand wrapped in Chinese rice paper that has beautiful Chinese calligraphy on it. They are so pretty that I carefully unwrap them and save the paper. The reason they wrap each item in this paper is that traditionally when you see a Chinese herbalist, they would weigh the herbs in paper and then wrap them up for you. I love how Wei mixes the old world and makes it modern never forgetting tradtion.
One of my new favorite products is the Multitask Multi-Masks. The masks come in a set of three and are in small pods, they are perfect for travel. They never spill, they are light, easy to pack and you won’t have to carry any containers back. They also come with a brush that you apply the masks with. The collection features best–selling WEI masks that help with detoxifying congested skin, brightening, and anti-aging. These masks will help achieve youthful and healthy skin.
The Bee Venom Anti-Wrinkle Cream Mask is incredible it will helps revitalize, hydrate, and plump your skin. Bee Venom is an anaphylatic which helps your facial muscles relax and you’ll have a softer look similar to having natural botox. Bee Venom also helps with cell regeneration, boosts collagen and improves circulation. These masks are also sold seperately, you can find the Bee Venom Mask here, Bee Venom Anti Wrinkle Cream Mask.
There is also a Brown Sugar Ready Glow Exfoliating Mask which will gently exfoliate your skin. The brown sugar brightens the skin and leaves it soft and dewy. It is gentle to use several times a week and you will be left with a radiant complexion. Find it, here.
A cult favorite and best seller is their Golden Root Purifying Mud Mask. This mask deeply cleanses and detoxifies skin. It’s perfect for those who live in urban areas where pollution is a concern. Or if you just don’t take care of your skin the way you should. It will remove impurities, and minimizes the appearance of pores. The mask also helps blur imperfections for an even complexion. Leaving skin flawless. Get it, here.
One of my main concerns I always struggle with is dry lips. I have tried every lip mask, lip treatment and lip balm. Nothing ever really works. Until now, Wei’s Royal Ming Imperial Lip Repair Balm is the best. The formula is over 600 years old and was only used for the royal family during the Ming Dynasty. Red Peony is the main active ingredient in this lip balm and that helps hydrate dry and cracked skin. The lip balm comes with a cute little applicator that makes you feel very chic when applying it. What I love about it is that it’s light enough to use all day long but also hydrating enough that I can use it as a lip treatment by layering it before bed and waking up with the softest, poutiest lips.
Wei Beauty mixes luxury, history and fine ingredients creating a skin care line that will become your favorite and also one that will make you feel like royalty. The thoughtfulness in each product makes you enjoy your skin care routine. I love that it Wei Beauty is meanigful and also it gives great results. My skin has never looked better.
