I love pasta and I love lemon so I made an easy pasta dish with Bindi Pastas. This pasta will only take you less than 20 minutes to make. I hope you enjoy it.
This was for 2 people double it for 4.
What you will need:
- Bindi Taglioline Pasta
- Heavy Cream
- Black Pepper
- Parmigiano Reggiano
3 round spools of Bindi Taglioline pasta
1 tablespoons butter (I used kerrygold)
4-6 large basil leaves, julienned
1 1/2 tablespoons of lemon juice
1 l/2 cup heavy cream
Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese shaved
Fresh ground black pepper (optional and to taste)
In a large pot of boiling water add a pinch of sea salt, then add the pasta. Cook until al dente which is about 4 minutes check pasta to make sure. Then drain it.
While the pasta is cooking, make the sauce in a medium sauté pan. Melt the butter over medium heat. Add your julienned basil, stir frequently, until aromatic. Then add 3 tablespoons of lemon juice. Stir until the lemon juice is reduced by half. Reduce the heat to low and add 1 cup of heavy cream. Slowly cook until it thickens to a sauce, stir it gently once your sauce is made turn the heat off.
Then plate the pasta, pour the sauce on. Add your parmigiano reggiano on top. If you like pepper add some pepper too.
