Face mask have become part of our lives that it’s time to ditch the paper face mask and upgrade your collection. It’s hard to find cute ones that will also give you protection. I look for masks that have pockets in the inside that you can change a filter. I’ve searched the internet for my favorite ones. Which I will be buying soon! I have been loving the face masks from LA local designer Ladaire. She makes the dreamiest dresses and now she has face masks to match. Yesterday at the Huntington Library Rodarte presented their Fall/Winter 2019 collection. The collection was colorful, full of sequins and inspired by California where Kate and Laura Mulleavy grew up. The gowns were dramatic, feminine and dreamy.  Celebrity guests included, Diane Keaton, Tracee Ellis Ross, Brie Larson,  Dakota Fanning, Angela Basset, Mackenzie Foy, John C. Reilly, and Elijah Wood The hair and makeup was vibrant and full glam, the looks were created by James Kaliardos from Nars and the lead hairstylist was Odile Gilbert. The details of the manicures were so softy and dreamy. They were done with Morgan Taylor nail polish. They were frosted pastels accented with pearls at the cuticle and glittery ruby red nails to match the eyes, lips and hair accessories. If you haven’t been to Fashion Island’s highly anticipated event, Style Week OC presented with SIMPLY, you have to mark your calendars for next year.  The event is fashion lovers dream from pop up shops and in-store shopping parties. There is also a series of panel discussions with industry experts. This year there were keynote speakers who talked about beauty and fashion.   Notable speakers included Ali Landry, Louise Rose, Lo Bosworth, and many more. The weekend kicked off with a VIP dinner at Fig and Olive in Newport Beach, Orange County, CA.  The dinner was beautiful and had a fashion show featuring the newest Fall trends from Neiman Marcus.  The trend was definitely a lot of animal print and sequins.  I know I love all things leopard!  The dinner was hosted by SIMPLY Founder Sarah Boyd it was a great way to  kick off SIMPLY’s STYLE WEEK OC.
