Growing up in the art world I have always loved visiting museums. Whenever I visit a new city I always go and visit several museums. Even though I have been to San Diego countless times and I had never visited any museums until recently. I didn’t even know there were over 40+ museums in San Diego. I am happy that I finally explored several while I was there recently. Such as the Natural History Museum, San Diego Museum of Art, the Japanese Friendship Garden, USS Midway, the haunted Whaley House and I also took a Trolley ride. I love doing weekend trips especially road trips and I am always looking for new places to go.  Recently we went to Lake Arrowhead which is a short drive from LA, it took us around an hour and half to get to Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa. Which is located in the heart of Lake Arrowhead Village.  The hotel is a short walk to all the restaurants and shops. This cute boutique hotel is surrounded by beautiful mountains and the hotel sits on a private lake, you’ll get a camp style feeling but with luxury amenities.
