One of my favorite getaways is Palm Springs/Palm Desert and I am declaring myself a Palm Springs Expert. I have stayed at almost every hotel in the Palm Springs area. I try all the restaurants, bars and know all the best places to see and shop at. Growing up in California Palm Springs has always been a place we can go to because it’s a short drive. It’s also a place you can go to if you want to go for a week, weekend, or just for a night. I spent 24 hours here and I’ll tell you what I did. I wanted to find some safe places to travel and visit during the pandemic. I have been road tripping all up and down the coast during 2020 and now 2021. One place that I had on my list was going to Sonoma. It actually had been on my list of places to go before the pandemic and I am so glad that I came. It sits on 77 acres and has a golf course, spa and several pools that at thermally heated from the hot springs below the property. We stayed in a gorgeous suite called the Mission Suites. Which have a cute sitting area with a fireplace, king size bed, and large bathrooms. All the bathroom amenities are from my favorite Le Labo. I love that there is a spa tub in the suites,…

Santa Barbara has always been one of my favorite getaways because it’s a short drive from LA and Orange County. I took my mom and my friend to stay a couple of nights at the Hideaway Santa Barbara. It’s a cute boutique hotel that is tucked away in a neighborhood and it’s walking distance from Santa Barbara’s Funk Zone. The Hideaway is small so you need to book in advance it only has eight rooms. We stayed in the largest room which has one king and two twins with a cute sitting area. The decor of the hotel is beautiful. It’s California Coastal, so everything is bright and fresh looking. The rooms are calming because the colors are soft whites, blues and grays. It’s really a…
