Staycations are one of my favorite ways to explore my own city. I try to do them as often as possible especially during this past year where traveling was not that easy. I just did a one night stay at L’Ermitage in Beverly Hills. It was just what I needed a little getaway to rest and rejuvenate. It is an all suite hotel, they have 116 suites that vary from single bedrooms, to 2-3 rooms. All of them are beautifully decorated and very spacious. When I choose hotels for staycations the room and amenities are very important to me because sometimes they are just one night stays and I want a place where I can really relax and feel rested so that it feels like I was on a vacation. Even though we aren’t able to travel right now that doesn’t mean you can’t take a vacation. I will tell you not all staycations are created equally. There are times you need to escape your home to just get away and then you can visit a resort like the Westlake Village Inn and be transported instantly to Europe without having to drive very far if you are in Southern California. Westlake Village Inn is a gorgeous property located in Westlake, California. Don’t let the name fool you, this is more than a hotel. It’s a winery, a golf course, a spa and fine dining. Walking around the property you’ll feel like you are in the South of France or in the country side of Italy. It has European charm and sophistication.
